Blueberry Picking

We took the boys to Blueberry Fest at Terhune Orchards. Because of all the rain we've had, we had a hard time finding a lot that were ripe. But we did good. And of course Colby did some damage before we made it out of the orchard!

Meadowlands Fair

Another tradition that started over 10 years ago ...the Meadowlands Fair..now State Fair. We usually go with Timmy and his family. This is the 1st year that Nate really went on any rides!

Every year I get John and the boys matching shirts and we take pictures in front of the tree. Its nice to line them all up and see how they have grown over the years!

Six Flags Great Adventure

We were supposed to do another day at Six Flags America, but we weren't thrilled with the park. So we decided to get up early and head back to Jersey and hit Great Adventure.

After a long drive the night before and a good night's sleep, we were up and at em for park opening!

This ride we thought was going to be good..it wasn't Scream in New England is so much better!
Colby's 1st Roller Coaster!


While we were on the coaster he spotted the elephant on the merry go round. As soon as we got off he made a bee line to the elephant!

It was sooo hot that day! We took a quick break for some shakes!



We headed to Hurricane Harbor for a little while. Then the clouds and thunder started to roll in. We decided to leave the park for something to eat. We went to Macaroni Grill. Then we were going to head back to the park for some more rides.

The kids were hungry when we got back to the room around 11pm...snacking on some mac and cheese!
